Flashback: Fashionable music video’s

Fashion is always a big part of music videos. Over the past years there have been a few video’s of female artists where amazing fashion is exposed. These ladies not only make good music, but they have a great sence of style as well. And with their incredible figure they are sure working  those outfits. Here are some of my favorite fashionable music video’s.

Note: due to playback restrictions some videos must be watched on YouTube. Continue reading “Flashback: Fashionable music video’s”

My renewed love for Primark

In Europe most of us know and love Primark, especially for their low prices. It is the perfect store for fashionistas on a budget. Because I wasn’t the biggest fan of Primark at the beginning (See post “My first experiences with Primark”) I wasn’t very excited to find out that there was finally going to be a store in my city Almere in november 2012. And I most certainly didn’t plan to visit that store in the first week, let along the first day which was 12-12-2012. That would be hell with the massive crowd.

My first experiences with Primark

Primark Oxford St East

My first visit to a Primark store was in june 2011, in the city Hoofddorp, Netherlands. I’ve heard about this store where you can buy great fashion for very low prices. But back then Primark wasn’t in my city yet. The day I visited Primark was actually a day that I had a promotion gig for Lipton Ice Tea in the centre of Hoofddorp. Every once in a while a do these projects for A class brands. So that day after work was done my colleagues decided to go shopping at Primark and, since I’ve never been and was curious about it, I decided to join them. Things to carry in your bag

birkin alike bag

A woman’s bag is private. Something they rather not share with men for several reasons, because it’s just personal. Nowadays every stylish woman carries on a bag along with her. Some go for big bags, some for small purses. If it’s a designer bag or not, it’s always good to have one, because women love carry a lot of stuff around. I am one of them. But what essentials do you need when leaving the house? Here are some things you should carry in your bag.

Miranda Kerr for H&M Spring 2014

Miranda Kerr HM

One of my favorite places to shop for clothes is H&M, online as well as in the stores. Every year H&M launches campaigns where they pick out a celebrity or supermodel who is the face of their campaign. For the Spring 2014 campaign it’s none other than Miranda Kerr, supermodel and ex Victoria’s Secret model, who is set to be their newest face. The almost 31-year-old and very sexy Australian is looking good in the spring collection of H&M, and is rocking it so well that it makes you wanna buy or order the items right away. Here is a look at the official Commercial Campaign.

Great affordable fashion at Donna di Ricardo Amsterdam

Donna di Ricardo

Fashion is not about labels and the amount you spend on it. It’s about being you in your very best way. That is not hard to achieve with all the fashion boutiques in shopping malls we have today all over the world. In this post I have a few pictures of a women’s boutique called Donna di Ricardo in the shopping centre “Amsterdamse Poort” in Amsterdam Southeast (Amsterdam Zuidoost). As I was visiting this shopping centre at the beginning of this month I was amazed by their spring collections. Donna di Ricardo offers affordable fashion for the everyday fashionista. Cleaning out the closet part one

IMG-20140324-03409

Spring time is almost here. You know what that means to most of us. Spring cleaning! And to me a big part of spring cleaning means: cleaning out the closet. Every year I have a period where I go through my closet and give away clothing, but also shoes and bags that I don’t want anymore for several reasons. It could be because I don’t like them anymore, the colors faded, I’ve outgrown them in the sense of maturing, or it’s just out of style. Not that I care too much about what’s in style, but sometimes you gotta admit when something is just not done anymore. Continue reading “Cleaning out the closet part one”

Like the fashionista I am I focused on the Fashion areas and went to see who is present at the fair and what is trending this year. This with my camera ofcourse. Fashion Truck Dutch style at Huishoudbeurs 2014

Hhb13

Real fashionistas already know about the concept of a Fashion Truck. Like the name already may suggest it is a truck from which fashion items are sold. This concept is specifically known in the United States, started in the Streets of New York City, but is now making it’s way to the Netherlands as the new shopping trend.
