Rita Ora slays at 10th year Independence Day of Kosovo

Who says that movies can’t teach you history. Yesterday I was watching some foreign language movies on Netflix, because just like my fashion, food and music, I like to switch things up with movies too. While Hollywood movies are still my go to for a good movie marathon, I am well aware that the world has many countries that know what they’re doing in the film department. Must see video – 100 years of fashion: Women in film

As a true fashionista and film fanatic, I always look at films in two ways: the story and the styling. The fashion styling that is, especially on the women. Today I’ve found a video that shows us how the fashion of women in films has evolved in the last century. Very interesting to see if you like film styling as much as I do. 73 things you didn’t know about Victoria Beckham

Back in the nineties when Spice Girls was the number one girl group in the world, my favorite spice girls was always Victoria Beckham. Ever since I was a young girl, anything chic had my attention. Victoria with her band my name Posh Spice immediately caught my eye out of all the other girls in the group. Looking at her I could tell that she had a great sense of fashion and that someday she would be doing something with that talent and achieving great things. Fast-forward 20 years later and look at what she has become. Continue reading “73 things you didn’t know about Victoria Beckham”

Troy

This post might be different from what you guys are used to, but it will be the first one of my entertainment section. In this post I would like you to meet Troy. A young and very handsome magician from Southeast London who now has his own television show on the Discovery channel. It was about a month and a half ago that I came across his show while zapping on tv and his looks made me stop on the Discovery channel immediately. And what a discovery it was. Ladies, you’re gonna thank me for this one. The name Troy made me think of a series or something, but when I read in the info that he was a magician, I had to see the show. Sadly, I was on my way out and couldn’t watch it at that moment but I recorded it and finally had a look today. Together with my mom I watched the show and then went on YouTube on tv for some more. We experienced a very tricky Tuesday. Continue reading “Tricky Tuesday: Troy the most handsome magician in town”

What Not To Wear: The timeless fashion series

One of my favorite fashion series on television is What Not To Wear. In this show stylists Stacy London and Clinton Kelly give women, whose style is just a big no-no, a fashion make over. These women are nominated by their friends and family to be on the show because they think that help is much needed. If these women agree to play by the rules of Stacy and Clinton they get a credit card worth of 5000 dollars to get a whole new wardrobe by shopping in New York. Not only do they get to buy a whole new wardrobe, they also get a new hair style from hair stylist Ted Gibson, and a whole new look from make up artist Carmindy.
