Get inspired by this must see closet tour

Wondering around YouTube, searching for fashion and lifestyle videos, is one of my favorite things to do on the internet, especially during the winter season. Getting a peak inside the closet of other ladies is always fun for me. Last week, while searching for closet tour videos just to get some new inspiration, I came across a video of a closet I couldn’t keep from you. My Fifty Shades of Grey outfit – pt. 2

Fifty Shades Look (1)

Today is exactly one year ago that I went to see the movie Fifty Shades of Grey with my best friend. In part 1 I wrote about seeing the movie and how we lost the first 15 minutes because we were late. Well, I didn’t went to see the movie a second time, but I watched it again entirely on the airplane on my way to Suriname last summer. What I still wanted to share with you is the outfit I had on that day at the cinema. Continue reading “My Fifty Shades of Grey outfit – pt. 2”

Travel Diary: Enjoying Ibiza day 2

CYMERA_20141109_182917

Hey travel lovers, it’s time for Ibiza day 2! Last week I showed you the great photos of day 1 of my trip to Ibiza back in November 2014. Day 2 was all about enjoying the island more and exploring the neighbourhood we were staying in. This was such a perfect sunny day to do that. Very refreshing to experience that kind of weather again in November. Sadly I forgot my shades, so I had to fight the sun a little that day. But no stress. Who needs sunglasses when you can enjoy the beauty of a Mediterranean island like Ibiza with your bare eyes. Continue reading “Travel Diary: Enjoying Ibiza day 2”

Monday Inspiration: Always stay gracious

The inspiration for today comes from none other than the Queen Bey herself. All the Beyoncé fans out there have already seen the music video of her new single Formation, where she makes great political statements, but also takes on back lash and haters. In life we all gonna deal with haters, but the best thing is to rise above it all and keep going. Remember that teacher who said you’re not gonna make it far in this lifetime or that recruiter who told you that you’re just not suited for that role? Let’s follow that advice from Bey. Travel Diary: Ibiza in style day 1

20141107_080446

It’s been over a year since my first Travel Diary post. Here I am again with another one. Just like I promised in my last I Love Su outfit post, I want to share my photos of my first Ibiza trip back in November 2014 with you guys. We went there to celebrate the birthday of my sister and spent two days on this lovely island, known as a party island in the summertime. Being there in the fall season was perfect to me for a first time visit, because I really got to discover the island peacefully. Off season with no trailer load of tourists, just sunshine, a beautiful Mediterranean landscape and friendly locals. Continue reading “Travel Diary: Ibiza in style day 1”

73 things you didn’t know about Victoria Beckham

Back in the nineties when Spice Girls was the number one girl group in the world, my favorite spice girls was always Victoria Beckham. Ever since I was a young girl, anything chic had my attention. Victoria with her band my name Posh Spice immediately caught my eye out of all the other girls in the group. Looking at her I could tell that she had a great sense of fashion and that someday she would be doing something with that talent and achieving great things. Fast-forward 20 years later and look at what she has become. Continue reading “73 things you didn’t know about Victoria Beckham”

Saturday Slow Jam: The Sweetest Taboo

On a rainy Saturday like this, I felt like going back in time with a slow jam, so I’m taking it back to the 90’s. Back to a time when slow music was its best. With a woman who has a voice as soft and smooth like silk. A joy to listen to. The video goes perfectly with the weather here today. May I also mention that vintage jacket she has on. Need to get me one like that. Love! Continue reading “Saturday Slow Jam: The Sweetest Taboo”

Casual or fancy wearing the same scarf

Blue scarf

When it comes to accessories the scarf is by far one of my favorites. It’s almost like I’m obsessed with buying and collecting scarves. Even when I’m outside, I find myself staring at other people’s scarves wondering where they got it from. Today I like to show you how I used one of my favorite scarves as the main accessory in two different ways last fall/ winter season. The casual way wearing jeans and the fancy way wearing a dress. Fashion is not frivolous! Alexa Chung on a quest

Alexa Chung fashion quest

When it comes to the fashion industry the general public does not take it seriously enough. This quote from Alexa Chung is exactly how I feel. She is right when she says that people are dismissive of fashion in general and think of it as frivolous. That’s what I experience sometimes when listening to people or see their reactions when this subject comes up. The lack of knowledge on this subject or even disinterest, which might lead back to the influence of parents and teachers, may have something to do with this way of thinking. Model and tv personality Alexa Chung teamed up with British Vogue for a documentary in an attempt to change the negative stereotypes of fashion. Continue reading “Fashion is not frivolous!
