It’s that time of the year again. Next weekend the annual Huishoudbeurs (Household Fair) in Amsterdam will open its doors again. It is the biggest lifestyle fair in the Netherlands focused on women, where everything from and in between food, fashion, beauty, health, home and luxury goods come together. The perfect day out with your girlfriends, cousins, sisters, neighbours or colleagues. If he is up for it, you can even take your boyfriend or husband ladies. There is plenty for the modern male to enjoy there as well.

Last year the Huishoudbeurs introduced the Asian Pasar Malam Festival, where it was all about Asian lifestyle and cuisine. This year a new segment is born, which is all about a healthy and happy life, but also about body and mind: Happy & Healthy!

The new segment Happy & Healthy was introduced with a flashmob at Amsterdam Central Station on Thursday 11 February.

The Huishoudbeurs will take place from 20 until 28 February 2016 in RAI Amsterdam. Its main sponsors are Miss Etam and Leaseplan. This year’s Huishoudbeurs shopper has come together in collaboration with Tassenmuseum Hendrikje, which is available at the fair that day or on the website from February 20 to April 9, 2016. The fair is opened daily from 11.00 – 18.oo hrs, on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 February from 11.00 – 22.00 hrs.
