This monday I got to read some great news on one of my favorite and trustworthy fashion websites Fashionunited that made me want to share it with you. Some of you may and some of you may not know that Zalando, one of Europe’s biggest e-commerce companies founded in Germany, is going to work together with Topshop. Woohoow! As from this fall Zalando will sell the collection of Topshop and Topman on the webshop in European countries, of which we’re talking clothing, shoes and accessories. The collection will be updated every two weeks. Jeej! Isn’t that wonderful..

With this collabo it is possible for Topshop to make their collection more accessible to us fashionistas here in Europe, since Zalando doesn’t charge their customers extra costs for shipping and returning. And it only improves Zalando’s image to work with trend driven brands like Topshop and Topman, said David Schneider, who is on the board of Zalando.

As a customer and fashion lover I think this is a very good idea. Working together with other brands and making fashion more accessible to the customer is the way to go if you want to grow your business and keep the customers happy, and of course keep them coming back for more. Even if it’s checking every two weeks, eventually they’re going to buy something.

Other great news for us Dutchies here in the Netherlands, and anyone visiting Amsterdam: Topshop is set to open a flagship store in the Kalverstraat, one of the most popular shopping streets you must visit in Downtown Amsterdam, assumingly this October. Furthermore the retailer is planning to expand in the USA with five more stores, and also stores in Hong Kong, Egypt, New Zealand and Panama.
