Spotted at Kling: The French Fries Bag

20141011_181213

While walking through the streets of Barcelona looking for nice stores to shop and unique items, I spotted some cool food themed bags at a shop called Kling. There was the Pop Corn bag, the Butter Flavor Cookies bag, The Danish Butter Cookies bag  and my favourite the French Fries bag, Mc Donald’s style. Unfortunately the sales woman wouldn’t let me take pictures in the store after asking, so I took some from the outside so you could still see the bag because I wanted to share it with you. 30 days before 30 years

1 't Vat 7

You probably wouldn’t guess it but in 30 days I will be turning the big three 0. A few years ago I thought I would have a problem turning 30 but now that it is near I don’t mind at all. Bring it on, new era, new challenges, new lessons, new life. The same me but with a different mindset. While many people may not know what they want to do with their lives at this age and often still wonder when they are way over 30, I know exactly what I want in life and most importantly from myself. Double slit maxi and representing at Summer Carnaval in Rotterdam

Maxi Su (1)

Good evening from my cosy couch. While I’m on the topic of events these past days, I wanted to share the look I was sporting at another event this summer. Only this time we’re taking it to Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam. Just like you might have seen I’m spending quite a lot of time in Amsterdam, visiting events and festivals, but not so much in Rotterdam. Well what can I say. I Love Amsterdam! But once a year I clear my schedule till early in the evening for my favorite event of the summer. The Summer Carnaval. As a Caribbean/ South American girl, music, dancing, parades and good food is in my blood. Like every year you could find me in Rotterdam for the Summer Carnaval, which was exactly a month ago today. Party Plog: Bo Monde, a party for beautiful people

Bo Monde Juni 2014

In my previous posts you’ve seen me at the Keti Koti Festival in Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Reggae Village. In this post we’re staying on the topic of great events in Amsterdam. While you’ve seen me in my Reggae outfit at the reggae festival, I was sporting a more chique look at a party the night before: Bo Monde. This is a party you can attend by invitation only with an elite touch to it, which I came across on Facebook before its second edition. Since I’d missed the chance of being at the second edition due to a rather late request ( I imagine), I wanted to be there for the third edition. This time I got myself invited. My first day in Kingston, Jamaica

20140611_182432

In my previous post I told you about how we tried to visit the beach on the first day, but that didn’t went as we thought it would. Well the day wasn’t a total loss. Although we were at the Half Way Tree bus terminal for almost 1,5 hours walking, searching, asking for directions and waiting for the bus without any luck, we did do something while already outside. We walked a little around Half Way Tree, visited the Pavilion Mall and then ended up at Sovereign Centre in Liguanea. Continue reading “My first day in Kingston, Jamaica”

If it’s in, it’s on the Fabulist..One more night!

The Fabulist

For a few weeks now the commercial has aired on E! Entertainment. If it’s in, it’s on the Fabulist! Premiers Monday March 31 only on E! My curiosity was running wild at first to know what The Fabulist was. Just three days ago my curiosity was a little satisfied when they revealed that it is a trend forecasting television series hosted by Kristin Cavallari and Orly Shani. Although I am reading a lot of mixed messages about when the show will air, it seems like it’s already started in some countries (USA). But for those living in the Netherlands at least the show will première on monday March 31st. Continue reading “If it’s in, it’s on the Fabulist..One more night!”
