MBFWA F/W 2015 Outfit Day 1: Faux Leather and Leopard Print

Hey there Fashionistas, this week it is about Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam (MBFWA). Like I told you in my previous post, I attended two catwalk shows and one Downtown event during the fashion week last weekend. It was my first time at the Fashion Week in Amsterdam and I enjoyed myself a lot. Before I share pictures of the shows and the event with you, I want you to have a look at my outfit on the first day.

My first day at MBFWA, attending the show of Aziz Bekkaoui, I was rocking an all black faux leather look outfit with leopard print accessories, my scarf and my bag. This was to give the already tough biker look a little extra wild touch. To make it more edgy, I choose to add my black and gold Aztec style necklace with matchy golden earrings. As for shoes, I went for black ankle boots with heels which I tuck underneath the pants. This is a good trick to elongate short legs like mine, as wearing the ankle boots over the pants would have made my legs seem shorter and thicker. Despite the badass biker look there is always that girly girl inside, so I went for soft make up and pink lips. And that completes the total look. What do you think? By the way, this is the first time I was rocking that new extra short hair after my haircut in December. Hair trick: hairspray!

Tip for short (thicker) legs: wear black ankle boots with heels underneath black pants because this will make your legs look longer and more skinny.
