You probably wouldn’t guess it but in 30 days I will be turning the big three 0. A few years ago I thought I would have a problem turning 30 but now that it is near I don’t mind at all. Bring it on, new era, new challenges, new lessons, new life. The same me but with a different mindset. While many people may not know what they want to do with their lives at this age and often still wonder when they are way over 30, I know exactly what I want in life and most importantly from myself. Happy 33rd Birthday Beyoncé

One of the most idolised singers in the world is celebrating today as we speak. The Queen B is Lucky to blow out 33 candles today as she celebrates her 33rd birthday. Wow! thirty plus and still looking as good as ever. Till today nobody has managed to get to the level of succes Beyoncé has for the past eleven years since she started her solo career. From her first album, which was brutally slammed by labels who didn’t think she had one hit single on it (luckily for her she proved them wrong), to an anthem that has hit the charts world wide and is now the ladies anthem of the century: Who run the world? Tribute to Michael Jackson

Today is the 5 year anniversary of the death of pop legend Michael Jackson. It has been 5 years ago that the world lost the King of Pop. I still remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard this sad news. Do you remember? Open Air Boutique on Kingsday

Last year on this date, April 30, it was the last Queensday in the Netherlands. On this day, April 30 2013, the crown prince Willem Alexander was crowned King of the Netherlands, meaning the national holiday Queensday is now Kingsday. The difference is that the date April 30 we were all used to for decades is now changed to April 26. This is because April 30 was the birthday of the late former Queen Juliana, and also the date her daughter, crown princess Beatrix at that time and now former Queen Beatrix, was crowned Queen of the Netherlands. Queen Beatrix kept the tradition of the national holiday Queensday on April 30. But since King Willem Alexander is crowned, this holiday is changed to April 26, given the fact that this is his birthday, even if he was crowned on April 30 also. Happy sixth year wedding anniversary Beyoncé and Jay-Z

The King and Queen of Hip Hop are celebrating their 6 year wedding anniversary today, It was 6 years ago that this couple decided to say I do on a very private wedding in New York City on Friday April 4th 2008. I remember this day so well as I was watching E! news and saw this come by as breaking news. Some how they knew that all the commotion at Jay’s Tribeca NY penthouse and a white tent on the rooftop was the secret wedding of Bey and Jay, and knowing how private B is I believed it immediately. With all the backlash on the Kim and Kanye Vogue cover happening all over the internet, you would think that Anna Wintour really lost it on this one. I’d say the opposite is true. Kim and Kanye did deserve to be on the Vogue cover, and I expected nothing less than this day to arrive. It is sad that some people decided to cancel their Vogue subscription because of one cover, and now think that Vogue has lowered the high standards. But you can’t please everybody. Ten days ago American Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour revealed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be covered on the April issue of Vogue magazine. She describes them as #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple on the cover. Since I am a fan of Kim’s style, and really like the Kimye couple, I was excited to find this out online last week. As I saw the cover for the first time I was curious to find out what has been reported on this news so far. So I went online to vogue.com and then got my google on. If it’s in, it’s on the Fabulist..One more night!

For a few weeks now the commercial has aired on E! Entertainment. If it’s in, it’s on the Fabulist! Premiers Monday March 31 only on E! My curiosity was running wild at first to know what The Fabulist was. Just three days ago my curiosity was a little satisfied when they revealed that it is a trend forecasting television series hosted by Kristin Cavallari and Orly Shani. Although I am reading a lot of mixed messages about when the show will air, it seems like it’s already started in some countries (USA).
