While we’re on the subject of change this Monday, I thought we could look at this subject from a fashion point of view also. And it just so happened that I stumbled upon this nice video on YouTube about fashion items that changed the world. There is no argue with that, all these items changed the world and every fashionista has at least 3 or more of these fashion items in their closet. Myself included! Throwback Thursday: Denim and Gold from day to night

Good evening y’all. And what a good evening it is indeed. Weekend is near and I am so thrilled about that since it’s going to be the weekend of the Africa Fashion Week in Amsterdam (AFWA 2014), which I will attend and am so excited about. Downtown Kingston is not downtown Manhattan

One of the things I really wanted to do while in Kingston, Jamaica was visiting downtown Kingston. From day one the locals told me that it wasn’t what I may picture in my head. “Downtown Kingston is not like downtown Manhattan where you can walk down the street in your high heels with your designer purse”, is what I was told by the local we were staying at. “It’s rough”. No matter how rough it might be, I am a Caribbean girl also, so how much more rough can it be than downtown Paramaribo, Suriname I thought. Before my time in Kingston was up, I wanted to visit downtown Kingston and see it for myself. Plog: my much-needed pedicure

After two and a half months I finally got me a pedicure again. I know, that is a long time. Wearing high heels all the time can make your feet become hard underneath, and after all this time you can imagine the amount of callous I had on my heels too. Because I don’t have the right tools to remove all of this I decided to go to Coco Nails & Spa in Almere and get a pedicure there. In this plog I will show you the step by step action of my pedicure so that you can see that it is easy to do if you have the right tools at home. Or otherwise you can see what to expect when you go get a pedicure and gel nail polish after.
