Workshop contemporary Boro Textile & Sashiko Jeans Repair by Textielfabrique. Sashiko is a Japanese recycle, mending embroidery technique from the 17th century. Textile which is created with this technique is called Boro Textile. This workshop captured the basics of sashiko. Sadly enough I was too late to join, but I will get me a kit one day. If you are interested to learn this please visit the website of Textielfabrique:
Denham / Butcher of Blue. You could get your jeans fixed at the spot:
A mini theater with short films about denim:

Denim Archive by Antonio di Battista.
Nudie Jeans present Recycle Your Jeans:
A little entertainment inside, and then it’s outside to the Vintage Market:
The Jean School and AMFI Denim Minor producing goodies on the spot:
That’s it for my plog series of the Amsterdam Denim Days 2014. Hope you enjoyed it and maybe you will be there next year, or at a Denim Days event in your own country.
