Today I would like to show you my favourite looks from the Black Panther movie. As you can read in my previous posts concerning Black Panther, one of my favourite things about this movie is the African inspired wardrobe. These costumes are the work of costume designer genius Ruth E. Carter, who had over a 100 people to help her realise the designs for the movie.
These costumes have inspired me to put my own African outfit together whenever the occasion calls to it or whenever I want to throw a little African flavour on my look. Starting with my favourite costumes of them all which are the warrior looks of the female warriors, the Dora Milaje, and their general Okoye.
Warrior costumes worn by the Dora Milaje, Okoye, Nakia and Shuri. This includes the strapless top warrior look:
The best green looks of Lupita:
The looks of Zuri, Killmonger, W’Kabi and M’Baku:
The beaded tops of Nakia and Okoye:
The first look of the queen mother Ramonda:
The Black Panther and King himself.
The old Black Panther suit:
The new Black Panther suit:
The King on the throne looks:
The ritual combat look:
The last looks of the main gang:
A close up on the looks of the cast:
To me Black Panther will always be the most epic Marvel movie with the most epic Marvel cast and the most epic Marvel costumes. Haven’t seen it yet? Go check it out! Until the end!!!
