Travel Diary: Highlights of Paris Day 3 Avenue des Champs-Élysées

Whenever I look through my Instagram feed, there is at least one picture of someone in Paris just about every 5 minutes. This reminds me every time that I still need to share the rest of my Paris trip in 2015 with you. Today is that day! In this travel diary I am sharing my adventures of day 3 in the city of couture. It was the longest day I had spent on the Parisian streets.

On day three, I mostly spent time on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, where I started with a wonderful lunch at Pomme de Pain. Afterwards it was time to play the tourist and take pictures at the Arc de Triomphe, which you can see in this post. Followed by visiting stores of some of my favourite brands, like Louis Vuitton, Guerlain and Nespresso. Also, I couldn’t help myself taking pictures of and with some cool sports cars I saw, while making my way down the Champs-Élysées. Let the photos speak for themselves this time.

At night I was supposed to meet my Parisian friend at the Eiffel Tower, but was so caught up by everything during the day, that I arrived late and we only spend 5 minutes together to take some photos. This was such a long day and I eventually had crêpe for dinner after midnight. After missing the last metro, I had to wait for a night bus to take me back to my hotel area. The wait was so long, I almost fell asleep while sitting at the bus stop. But it was all so worth it. Paris I love you!

Check out a video with the view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower at night.

Have you ever seen Paris from the Eiffel Tower? You really should!
