Winter is officially here. December 21, the shortest day of the year and I must say that it is true. This morning I waited to see what time the sun would rise or better said what time it would be daylight, because there was actually no sign of the sun today. Nothing, nada. At least not here in my city. About 9:15 it was daylight and about 15:45 it was already time for sunset. Really the shortest day, but still enjoyable. One thing you might not know about me is that I am a complete romantic at heart. For real I am a sucker for anything that has to do with romance, like watch chickflicks, read chicklits, watch love shows on television, listen to love shows on the radio and…slow jams. Those smooth voices and faces are so sexy, that I have to share some of the videos with my ladies. From this weekend on I want to start a new series called Saturday Slow Jam, where every Saturday I will share a selected R&B Slow Jam music video, new or old, depending on the mood I am in. As always I look for inspiration wherever I go. Last summer I was there also and I came back very inspired. This year I went out again to see what Paramaribo has to offer when it comes to fashion. In his post I like to share Paramaribo from a fashion point of view. Continue reading “Paramaribo a Fashion City”
