On this last day of the year 2016, I would like to say thanks for everything that I have experienced, the wonderful people I’ve met, the trips I made, the lessons I’ve learned, the risks I took, the chances I’ve had, the love I felt, the understanding I got, my health and everything in general.

Many wonderful things happened to me and good things came my way. This year has been good to me and I will remember it forever. For me 2016 will always be the year that I:

Started with a laid back vacay in Barcelona

Saw Leo finally win the Oscar for best Actor

Got my dream job: being a flight attendant!

Visited Paris to see the UEFA Euro 2016 finale: Portugal – France (only to see Portugal win)

Attended a concert of Beyoncé as a solo artist

Took my first real solo trip: Nice, French Riviera

Finally visited the USA: Los Angeles, California

Moved into a place in Amsterdam

Have seen USA almost getting their first female president

Discovered what my favorite flower is

Saw a movie that opened my eyes even more: Collateral Beauty!

With this many more memories..

In another post I will reflect on all the good things, but for now I just wanna say thanks and look forward to the new year ahead. To all of you reading: I wish you nothing but the best for the new year. Be careful out there! Have fun! Take all the lessons of the past year with you to make the next year an even better one.
